DIN Adaptors for Dashboard Radio Mounting 200 1988

My recently acquired 240 GL has a nice gap at the top of the dash where the radio should go. I have a nice period style, DIN sized Sharp AM/FM radio cassette player I would like to fit, but the radio aperture is not DIN sized. It's too big and an odd shape.

Are there any proprietary DIN adaptors available for the 240 that would enable me to have music wherever I go?
