How to Adjust AMM with DVM???? 700

Greetings Brickboarders.

I have just spent the better part of this afternoon searching for a How to Adjust my CO2 at the AMM with a DVM. Just last week I had read several articles in the forum but didn't bother to bookmark them. I know to use the green and white wire, but do I use that for ground and hook up to twelve volts with the positive lead. Next how should the DVM act as I turn the adjusting screw???, Car is running a bit rich and I have replaced the O2 sensor. Help, Help thanks 86' 745 Turbo
