True oil reading-940T 900 1992

1-What is the capacity of IPD oil filter when on a brick? 2-When taking a reading via oil stick should we take consideration the amount in filter? I normally fill to full line & do not consider oil in filter. (I am referring to everyday driving not at oil change interval). Advise is much appreciated.
