several wires of same color in ignition 700 1986

I have 2 blue and red wires in my ignition harness. The information someone gave me is listed below. How do I know which wire blue/red wire to use for Ignition #1? Also, Ignition #2 is supposed to be a black wire, however, in the harness there are 2 black wires, a large one and a small one. I'm probably going to assume the large one, is that correct?

Remote Starter Wiring Colors and Notes
Ignition #1:
BLUE/RED OR RED
IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Alarm and Keyless Entry Wiring Colors and Notes
Ignition +12 Volts:
BLUE/RED OR RED
IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
