Hey, Guys, I think everyone was right: I ungrounded, re-grounded, pulled my headliner and checked the harness, wiggled, jiggled and found religion. I found all my grounds were filthy, in the tailgate harness one of the male to female connections with the plastic protective housing didn't fit properly (no jokes, please....) and my bulb out warning light wasn't just on for no reason. I've got license plate lights, can use headlight and brakes at the same time, oh the rear wiper works, nice...... Thanks, guys. I love my car again. So who wants to talk me through installing a CD player?
Just kidding. Sort of.
