The younger generation reported tonight that the '91 244 won't shift into 3rd until about 4000 rpm since the onset of cold weather this weekend, and OD won't engage, either. I'll chase down the OD problem starting with the relay, but - assuming the kickdown cable moves freely - what would cause a delayed shift into 3rd? Apparently the 1-2 shift is normal. Fluid was flushed about 2K ago.
I confess that years of owning cars with manual transmissions has kept me from learning more about slushboxes... feel free to educate me.
