Knock, Knock 200 1985

I have a 1985 245 DL non-turbo, automatic transmission, 132k miles, that has a knock coming from the engine on idle. Its frequency is about 1-2 knocks per second. When I rev the engine, I can't hear the knock (maybe the other noises block it out?). The timing and idle speed are perfect, no coolant in oil or vice versa.
