I recently replaced the o-ring on my oil dipstick which may have been why there was so much oil residue on parts in that area and the hood blanket. It was quite loose in its holder. I was thinking about lifting the hood up to it's vertical position, spraying simple green, and using my high pressure washer at a not too close position to clean. Will soaking with water destroy this blanket? Thanks.
