Oil change - big difference 200

Changed crankcase of Mobil 1 10w30 after approximately 10,000 miles. Replaced with same. Made a huge difference. Engine runs smoother, quieter, and is (slightly) more responsive.

What gives? Thought that syn. was good for "extended interval" service.

And no, the oil level was not low prior to change, nor was it dirty-still looked good when changed.
