again: V90's ..... how many made ? S90-V90

ok. last time we did not clarify right quantity number..
maybe this time :)

I am sure, that chassis numbers up to: 042547 (las 6 dig's of VIN no.) are V90.
Now, it is enough to find out last possible produced no.
We can also try find yougest one here.. this will show 'min' value :)
My one is 043097 - it means that it is 550 Volvo V90 produced (european ver.).

Is USA VIN no the same like european one? (ex.: YV1965966V1XXXXXX)

here:

are some datas, but only till end of '97

I've found there also:

"In February, the last V90 left the assembly line in Göteborg, which means that all Volvo cars are now front-wheel or four-wheel drive. "

as official info, and concerning '98 models:

"When it comes to the 1998 models, work has focused on a special model with a carefully-composed interior and exterior design and a number of interesting, user-friendly systems:

– The lower part of the spoiler and the sills are painted the same colour as the bodywork, the decor strips along the sides of the body are in a contrasting colour and there are newly-designed 16" wheels.
– Upholstery in leather/Alcantara® and a steering wheel which combines leather with wood. Alcantara® inlays in the sides of the doors. Speakers in the B- and D-pillars boost and improve the already outstanding sound reproduction in the audio system.
– RTI, Volvo’s navigation system with maps on an easy-to-read monitor plus a phone. A GPS aerial effectively locates the cars. "
