Virgo ('turbo') wheel paint 200

I got a new set of Virgos today -- couldn't resist as the price was very good and the wheels were excellent. Only one of the rims has a few scratches. I thought I'd just replace that one with a good one from the set I got earlier this winter, where there was also one scratched wheel. The plan was to use the excellent set for my summer tires, and the other with two scratched ones for the winter tires, and "later" have those two fixed up.

As we know only too well, not all plans will come through. In this case, it turned out that the two sets has different shades of color! The older one, marked '83, has a more silver-like color than the newer from '87 which is noteably darker. If any of them has been repainted, someone did a heck of a good job -- both sets look like they have a factory finish.

Did Volvo really change the color on the Virgos between 1983 and 1987? Does anyone know the actual color code(s)?

Erling.
