Hello Bricksters,

My 86 245DL just started a problem this weekend. After a long idle period like a long red light, when you take off the car losses power. Pound the pedal and then it takes off. My wife stated that it died on her a couple of times. I have not seen that problem yet in person. Runs fine down the highway and on short stops.

Where to look is the question.

As always all ideas are greatly appreciated.
