I have read in a few postings about the initial resistance across terminals 3 and 6 of the Air Mass Meter being 380 ohms. I noticed the tamper plug is missing from my meter. I decided to check the resistance and it was a little over 1000 ohms. Turning the screw did adjust it up and down. I reset it to where I found it because the car seems to be running well. I had a hot-restart problem this summer that has either cleared up (I swapped out the ECT) or it is just too cold here now for the problem to occur.
Should I reset it to 380 ohmms or at least lower it. 1000 ohms seems to be the top of the range for the AMM.
Also when setting the mixture can you use a voltmeter and which plug do you you use for the mixture checking.
