Squirrel cage for Christmas - 1989 heater blower motor 700 1989

I tried to replace my sister's 740 heater blower motor today. Not too bad compared to a 240, but the plastic cage would not adapt to the new motor. It had an aftermarket motor in it and I bought the NAPA motor (sans cage) for $18.95.

So I need a squirrel cage separately from the motor. Volvo only sells a kit with the cage and motor for around $130. I tried to adapt the one I had - ended up with a noisey fan, as the cage is hitting the bottom of the motor assembly. Sort of a floppy fit on the fan shaft.

Any ideas on where to find a 740 squirrel cage for Christmas?? The last 740 heater fan I did took me an hour - this was much longer and full of cursing! And it's still making noise - my sister has lost faith in my Volvo repair abilties!
