Lately I've noticed that my car feels very loose in the steering. At highway speeds and on asphalt it generally feels like the car is moving around a little too much, and that it is in constant need of micro-corrections and attention lest it slides around. However, there is no play in the steering wheel, and even the smallest movement triggers a response in the steering.
This seems to have begun after I had a new set of Nokian Hak Qs put on and had a thrust alignment done at my tire place. What I'm wondering is if this looseness is just an effect of the softer rubber and construction of the Nokians, or whether its has something to do with the thrust alignment/front alignment.
Just a little nervous over the feel and figured I'd post. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
rt
