Cold start problem....at my wits end 200 1989

Hello all,

I can't seem to figure out this cold start problem. Could it be this air box thermostat I 've been hearing about. Here's what I have done to date. I don't know what else to do. It starts better in the garage ( where its warmer). It has gotten progressively worse.

- AMM is ok car has been tested with other functional units with no difference
- RPM sensor
- Temperature Sensor
- Fuel Pump relay replaced with no difference ( date stamp 1994)
- In-tank sender unit with pump
- Fuel filter and check valve on main pump
- Plug wires and coil wire
- Used alternator
- New voltage regulator
- Used starter
- New oil trap
- Battery 2 years old tested – good
- A good spark is produced when engine is turned over
- swaped out the coil with a spare
- swapped out the main computer with a spare
- new fuel presure regulator
- new fuse and fuse holder

General maintenance up to date
- Spark plugs
- Rotor and cap
- Air filter
- Required fluid changes
- PCV system cleaned
- Throttle body cleaned
