In about a week I will be relocating to the Midwest. Specifically Lawrence, KS; near Kansas City, MO.

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend good resources in the area for parts, machine shops, etc.

I know the UPS man will probably be my best friend back there, but if there is a decent mechanic and parts counter within driving distance all the better.
