Auto Trans Shifter is completely loose. Linkage repair tips please 700

Hi all,

I think there is a problem with my linkage. Backed up, went to put car in D and shifter became super sloopy- nothing engages just slides.
FAQ seems to indicate it's the linkage. Does anyone have any tips for servicing the linkage and bushings. I would appreciate any time savers- my garage is full of patio and house gear and my brick is up on stands in 3 ft of wonderful snow.
