1st time Volvo Buyer.... advise pease!!! 700 1990

I am looking at purchasing my first Volvo,a 1990 740 turbo sedan. Car is in excellent condition both interior and exterior,with 170,000 kms. (107,500 mi.).Anything that I should be wary or concerned about with this particular year or model? I have been told that the turbos can be troublesome. Any advise or comments would be greatly appreciated.
