Auto Tranny OD solenoid 'click' 900

List,

I read that the OD solenoid for the AT (AW-71) should click. I can hear the relay clicking inside the car, but no click from the solenoid.... Does this mean that the solenoid is no good? I'm running VERy low on time and I need to get this thing going ASAP. Thanks-
