I have a 1980 245 DL, and I just got a tach from a '80 240 GL that will fit. Remember, this is not the clock/tach switch out I'm talkig about. My car has the pre-81 instrument cluster.

My question: I know I have to run a wire to the coil. Can someone give me some detailed instructions on how to do this?
