engine noise 900

It seems to be that my 180,000km 1994 940's enigne is getting noisier
and noisier. Is there any ways to reduce the engine noise or at least
make the the engine sound a bit better?
Every 8000km interval I give my car a 10w-30 mobile one synthestic oil
change already. Any things else i can do?
