As some off you know I am in the process of refinishing a set of wheels. I sanded them down nicley now I am trying to clean them. The stuff I got (Meguirs wheel cleaner) is not doing the trick. I have been spraying and scrubing (scotch bright and brillo) for a week and a half and I still can't get them all that clean. Has anyone ever used oven cleaner for brake dust? I want something that I can acquire locally (Wal-mart) and won't eat a hole in my arm if I spill it.
