Hi All - I'm trying to troubleshoot a no-start condition after a complete engine rebuild on a 765 Turbo. According to my inductive timing light, I have spark occurring at 12 degrees BTDC at cranking speed. It seems I have no fuel entering the cylinders. After connecting fuel pressure guage into circuit, I'm reading 45 PSI while cranking and 42 PSI when I stop cranking.
My specific question is: Should I see a fuel spray pattern at the injectors while cranking the engine with the injectors attached to the fuel rail and removed from the intake manifold? Because I'm not seeing any at all; not even a dribble. I can't find the answer in the FAQs.
Any help will be much appreciated.
PS - special thanks to John Sargent for the terrific pictures of the engine bay, which enabled me to complete the assembly of the wiring and hoses.
