Thanks to the new NZ Volvo forum, I have just become aware that on carburetted B-20s ("69) the emission control hoses are hooked up the other way around from on B-18s with emission control pretensions, i.e., the hose from the crankcase vent oil trap goes to the air filter, and the one from the oil filler cap goes to the intake manifold. If, in an attempt to placate my environmental conscience, I hooked up the the hoses that now dangle from the fresh B-20 I put into the PV and I do so in the old B-18 way -- crankcase vent oil trap to intake manifold, and oil filler cap to one of those gadgets that fits beteen the forward carb and its filter --, would I get myself into trouble?
