Vibration at Idle, Motor Mounts?? 200

I'm interested in hearing about people's experiences with old vs. new motor mounts. My '90 244 with 165k miles is quite shaky at idle, the engine does skip once in awhile but overall it runs well especially while in motion.

The mounts look/feel intact although they feel very rubbery/squishy. In addition they seem swollen compared to new mounts.

Will new mounts reduce/remove the vibration travelling through the car?
