B230/M46 in 142 140-160

If I'm correct, the bellhousing on a M46 bolts onto the trans from inside the housing, same as on the M410's fitted to the 70-71 1800E's, unlike the regular M40/41's that use a large allen head bolt from outside the trans. What I'm interested in, is if the bellhousing of an M46 would bolt onto an M410 trans, allowing me to mount a B230 slanted and keep my M410 that I already have in the car with the long gooseneck style shifter. Hopefully this makes sense. My theory is to mount the B230 slanted, and keep the old trans location. I realize there are brake booster issues also, but I want to clear up the trans issue before pursuing this any farther. With the engine slanted, a turbo fits much better. Anyone know if it's possible to "bolt on" a 240 series booster/master cylinder??
