I have decided to pack it in for my 92 740 and 90 760. I wanted another 95 940 but a wagon instead of a sedan. The 95 940 wagon is near impossible to find in my neck of the woods with the options we want. However, V70 and XC70s abound. We are now considering a FWD! Since I do all of our own work, brakes, t-belts, etc. how much of a stretch would maintaining one of these newer beasts? Are their better years of the v70 and XC70, what should I look out for or look for? Will a V70 or XC70 last as long as a 95 940?
