964 Oil Warning Light 900 1995

Just got a good scare while driving.

The red oil warning light came on and I pulled over asap and shut engine down. I restarted after a minute and light stayed off so I resumed driving until the light came back on after approx. 1-2 miles. Pulled off the road again and shut down. Restarted and light stayed off this time after driving approx 5 more miles.

I checked the oil and the level is full. I'm running Mobil-1 10-30 & use either original Volvo filters or Mann.

I'm hoping it's just a bad ground connection or something simple.

Any suggestions as to where to start checking?
