Oil spewing from the cap after cleaning crankcase vent system - Problem solved 200 1988

First, thanks to those who answered my original post. Spent a few hours getting the riding mower ready for the new season (75 deg here in NC today, springs here) and gave me time to think. I went back to the car, opened the hood and leaned in looking everything over hoping to see something I forgot. Presto!
*The large hose from the flame trap plugs onto the accordian hose at the throttle body. Although I had the large hose off and cleaned it thouroughly I failed to look at the 1/2" nipple it plugs onto. I took the accordian hose loose again and looked in and saw the nipple plugged solid. No wonder the car still spewed oil, it still couldn't breathe. It's good now and happy days are here again. Let the wife drive her Lincoln, I'm back in the old Volvo!!
