I need help determining if my nivomats are still working correctly 900 1994

I've got a 94 965 with 146,000 miles, solid rear axle, and nivomat shocks. I measured from the ground up to the outer fender well using the center of the wheel as a reference. After driving around for a few hours with 100 lbs of kids in the third seat and a quarter tank of gas the measurement with a load was at 26 inches. With the car unloaded it measured 26 1/4 ins. I measured this morning after it sat all night and it measured 25 3/4in. Does this sound correct for good shocks. I recently read that bad nivs can sag up to 2 in overnight. I suspected the shocks due to what feels like bottoming out when hitting bumps etc., even without a load. What do you think? Thanks.
