B230F timing belt cover ? 200

As im trying to time this 85 B230F, there is no markings on the timing belt cover . There is a zero and nothing else to guage degree by, on this engine. Is this how this engine is or am i missing the time marks . Being that there is a zero and nothing else , when i turn distribeter there is no way of knowing the degree of time, since there is no "befor and after TDC marks" except for a zero. and yes i know how to time a engine by ear, and light, but this one i want perfect any help. All i want to know, is my engine missing the marks? If it is i can get another cover. My father in the v8 fourm, says he read something about this in a volvo shop manual , and it is normal for this engine not to have time marks. is that corect. Thanks
