Sorry if this has been gone over time and again, but I did check the FAQ and did some searches with no success.
When sitting at idle, my 1995 945T runs at around 750 RPM but will kind of bounce up and down to 650-700 RPM which produces a bit of intermittent vibration in the car. It happens both in neutral and drive; however, if I put the slightest bit of throttle on (to 800-900 RPM) then it smooths out and stops the vibration.
What is the likely culprit? My 3yr old twins take up most of my spare time and I would like to narrow my focus.
Is it likely a dirty throttle body, clogged injectors, fuel filter, motor mounts?
The car has only 76k miles and I keep up with all the maintenance. I also recently put on an IPD 2.5" cat-back exhaust which has made the vibration a little more pronounced.
Thanks for your help.
