steering gear, tail light lens & rear hatch wiring 200

Most important item first. My steering gear is done. It wobbles and shakes when I hit bumps. Where, in Canada, can I get a replacement? I have heard thet rebuilt ones can be as crappy as the one it is replaceing. Is this so?

What kind of glue would you suggest for re attacking a tail light lense? I tore it off while unloading a roll of fencing.

My auto lock on my hatch no longer works on demand. It does, however, work at random. I looked into it a little and noticed that the wiring to the tailgate at the tailgate hinge is in need of replacement, one wire is completelt severed and another is badly frayed. It looks like either of these wires could short out to the frame. So how do I go about replaceing it? I have not tried pulling it out threough thte hinge for a quick and nasty tape job so I don'y know if there is any slack in the cable. Does anyone know the routing of this cable in the car? Does it stay up under the headliner or drop down into the taillight area?

Thanks

Steve
