Strange 'flapping' noise 700

This is a strange one, so I'll understand completely if I get no responses - but if some of you could take an educated guess I'd be grateful. In my '92 745t when I hit about 80-85mph on acceleration I get this flapping noise coming from behind the center console. By flapping I mean it sounds almost like a flag ion the wind knocking against something - even that's not a great analogy. On deceleration it occurs in a lower range - abot 75-70mph. I can't for the life of me figure out what it could be???
