When refitting door seals to my 144 after respray they overlap 1" or more . Is this caused by rubber swelling over 30years, do i start again or cut excess off?. Should i use soapy water to fit or dry and contact cement. If i cut will i end up with gap in time when things settle down.TIA. Jack McIntyre.
