Here's how it goes. i have a '89 760 turbo sadan
and the darn thing wouln't move , so i thought it was the trans. so last week we changed the fluids and the trans fiter screen . and cleaned it all out of the lines and what not . and after that it decided to move .it ran for a block or two
before it dicides to stop , and then i have to let it sit for a sec or two and turn it back on and it moved again . so what i am asking is does anyone that has knowledge about this prob think it is the torque converter that may be bad. or is there anything else i should check as well like perhaps it is the whole trannie. ps i am doing this on my own. all trail and error. and i am a girl who does not want to get ripped off by any darn garge. thanks for anyones help if at all possible...ketcs and if it could be the trans why did it run after i cleaned it and still will today but just for a block or two before it starts slipping again then in 2 to 5 secs it moves again .
