Is this car worth repairing?

So now that it sounds like the head gasket is bad...does that explain the poor, almost barely ability to run? It has a serious miss, idles extremely rough and smokes. And the starter symptoms, spins but eventually starts...also HG related?

And if I decide to tackle the HG, how can I tell if it will run well after the repair? Anything to check now?

We are already planning to replace the car but I am wondering if it is worth repairing to increase resale value (or bring it up from zero). The car has other issues like A/C, bad headliner and peeling paint.

Thoughts?
