Is this car worth repairing?

Did you say what it was? Does not matter.

I say it may be more a matter of the heart than anything else. I have a friend who has an old 240, way over 200K. This car has experienced what you mention and far more over the years. It really needs a lot of cosmetic help (paint is terrible) - but the lady loves the car.

They could afford a new one -in fact the husband drives a newer pickup. She just loves the car. It is a part of her, and their family.
