I have a idle problem on a 91 740 only with the A/C engaged. Idles fine otherwise. When the A/C is on and the compressor engages ( like sitting in traffic or at a stop light) the engine almost stalls. It doesn't cut off but the engine shakes and shutters like it's gona die any second. I've read ( of course can't find it now) that something is supposed to increase idle speed when the compressor is engaged. Any ideas as to where to look much appreciated. The throttle body is clean. When I'm driving the car, I just slip it in neutral at a stoplight and increase the idle with my foot but that's too complicated for the wife. She's driving me nuts about this. Sure you guys know the feeling. HELP!!
