alternator for '68 122 and A/C compressor double pulley 120-130 1968

I have purchased an aftermarket A/C unit and am in need of a double pulley to power the compressor. I have been told a pulley off of a 240 may work. any suggestions what will work or where to get one if available? will also need to replace the generator with an alternator. Have been told a G.M. alternator will fit and work but I don't know which one. Any suggestions to help me through this process will be appreciated.
