How to identify an AW70/AW71 transmission? 200

My brick is, with a few exceptions, a pretty standard 1987 240GL, Scandinavian specifications. I have always assumed that it has an AW70 gearbox. But when I got it back from the dealer after a strut job, I noticed on their print-out from the job that my specific car is listed as having an AW71. Everything else listed was correct.

Is there a way I can check this by examining the transmission? A label or something?

Thanks,
Erling.
