The differences... 200

There are cylinders built into the body of the transmission which contain disc looking pistons with an "O" ring around them used on the AW70 to cushion shifts. The AW71 doesn't have the pistons for crisper shifts----or so I've been told by my former Volvo indy boss while deep into an AW70. -- Dave
