Fuel Pump Relay Troubleshooting 200 1986

Tried to start Inga (86 245 DL)Sunday after installing her rebuilt alternator.

The Alt was only putting out 12 volts and was well worn.

No start, so pulled the side stuff and found the Fuel Pump Relay. No Click when the key is insterted and turned on. Checked all the fuses with a ohm meter, nothing is blown.

Now this relay is only a year and a half old and I have my doubts about it being bad. What pins do the 12 Volts come in on? I remember something about putting a jumper in just to check the fuel pump is running. Where would that go?

Any other tips on troubleshooting the problem?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Regards,
