New Heat control valve problem 200

I bought a new heater controlvalve from Groton. After removing the old one and installing the new cable, I am stumped. The directions that came with the new valve have illustrations taht do not correspond with what is on my car. Has anyone dealt with this new valve. The specific issues at this point are;
1)The mounting braket - where does IT mount?
2)The hoses do not seem to line up. Original was 90 degrees, the new one is 180 degrees

Any help is appreciated.
