auxilary fan 700 1987

I just went to the pick and pull to get a replacement auxilary fan for my 87 740. The only car with a good looking fan was an 88 760. I got the part and am wondering if it will work ok in my car. It looks a bit larger and has curved blades. the plugs look the same. I'm not sure if the hardware is exactly right, but it didn't seem difficult to put something together.
