Some advice 900

I need some advice. I'm looking at buying a '95 940 as my family's primary car. The car is very clean and in good condition but it has 140,000 miles and the owner wants $6000.00. Do you think that's too many miles for a primary car? I think the price is a little on the high side. The car belongs to a Volvo mechanic, he's had the car for a year and then found one that he really wants to keep. It runs well, good tires, good a/c everything works. I know a little bit about Volvos we had a '87 740 for five years and a '90 240 for the last 3 years. Do you think I would have any luck looking for a lower mileage 940?

Thanks.
