Removing Metallic Type Stickers From The Plastic Bumper? 200 1988

I have two AAA type metallic stickers glued to the black plastic bumper on my 240. They have been there at least a decade if not longer. Any idea how to get them off without damaging the plastic underneath? I have tried scraping and prying with no luck. I was thinking there must be a solvent like product but then I thought any solvent that would remove the sticker would likely damage the bumper.
