Thanks to all the advice here,I bought a set of tubing wrenches, before tackling the brake junction change out.Glad I did,boy did I need it.It had been leaking so long, that, everything was well soaked and the nuts came of just fine. One line going to the LF gave me trouble so I bought a short piece of brake line.Really got a chance to prove my bending skills and was pleased with the results. It was prettier than a pretzel!Everything went fine until I went to bleed the brakes. I couldn't get the pedal to hold. After franically looking for the leak,I finally found it. The new brake line! I pulled it off and compared it to the old line. THE FLARES ARE DIFFERENT!The stock line had a 'double flare'while the new piece didn't.I put the old one back on and everythings fine.A 1 hr. project turned into a 3 1/2 hr ordeal. The new line now adorns the top tray of the toolbox-it sure is pretty, though.Anyone else contemplating this, be aware.
