Rear Red Door Light only works if driver side door is open 900

This is pretty trivial, but I noticed that the drivers side rear red door lamp only comes on when I open the drivers side front door. If I go to the opposite side with all doors closed and open either the front or rear passanger side door (separately) the red door lamp will come on as it should for both doors. The drivers side front door will illuminate with all doors closed. Just curious why the rear drivers side door red light will not illuminate when all other doors are closed. If it was a bad ground or bulb I would expect it would not illuminate at all rather that when the front door is open? I even tried changing the wires on the contatcs to the door switched. Anyone know?
